From 10 to 14 August 2020, 48 volunteer leaders and coaches from the Open Fun Football Schools in Moldova participated in two seminars, organised in cooperation with the Moldovan Football Federation, Cross Cultures, General Police Inspectorate of the Republic of Moldova and Terre des hommes Moldova.

Action plan and progress form [UEFA]

This form can be used to plan the actions required to meet minimum child safeguarding requirements and to further develop safeguarding procedures. It should be completed annually, but reviewed regularly (every three months is recommended). The progress shown in the self-evaluation form should inform the actions required in this form.

In Romania and Greece, Terre des hommes creates a safe environment for children in sports

To "keep children safe in sports" means to prevent and respond to any form by which the child can be negatively affected – emotionally, verbally or physically – during physical training or when they practice performance or recreational sports. Terre des hommes (Tdh) has launched in October 2019 a unique European project, aimed to promote child safeguarding policies in sports settings in Romania and Greece, as a means to protect and safeguard children.

In October 2019, Terre des hommes (Tdh) launched a unique European project, aimed at promoting child safeguarding policies in sports settings in Romania and Greece, as a means to protect and safeguard children. Through this project, Tdh has committed to make sure that children and young people benefit from special safeguarding policies when practicing various sports. This is how the project activities began and how they evolved. 

Child Safeguarding Standards and how to implement them [Keeping Children Safe]

The first Child Safeguarding Standards were launched over 12 years ago by a coalition of relief and development charities that later became known as Keeping Children Safe.

Since then there has been a growing recognition that, as well as risks to children from staff and associates, inappropriately designed programmes and poor operational management can also create the possibility of risks to children.
